> Do you find the imagery remains consistent when personal guidance is involved?

I am not sure that I know what you mean in this case by the word "consistent." In my experience, guidance uses whatever imagery it feels appropriate at a given time, and does not hesitate to change it to make a slightly different point, or to have me see it from a slightly different viewpoint. In fact, the guys upstairs have said that one very good way to overcome the inherent limitation of words is to draw one analogy, then draw a very different analogy, hoping that the only thing the two analogies have in common will come through, sort of by the process of algebraic addition.

> You mentioned trees and forest in the above transcript.... I had not considered it from a separate perspective ....

Bear in mind that just as the subconscious communicates with the conscious mind primarily through metaphors, images, so does guidance. (For that matter they may be the same thing for all we know.) An inherent property of metaphors and images are is the pun, and so it is just as well to get into the habit of writing what you have seen or felt and then reading it aloud, preferably to someone else. You will often find puns in this way when you would not have found them merely thinking about it.

Frank,

Do you find the imagery remains consistent when personal guidance is involved?

You mentioned trees and forest in the above transcript. I have had one very clear image of a country path before me, bordered by lush green plants. I had not considered it from a separate perspective until I had read your transcript. In considering this, I find that the answer is, for me, that I am always trying to see around the corner without learning to enjoy the journey and that path from where I currently stand. (Sorry, not quite as eloquently put as yours.).
