I am also truly grateful that you suggested I/we come by and visit with the two of you last summer. All of this is greatly appreciated. In many ways, you help me feel that I was there with you these last few days. Had Charles and I still been living at The New Land, we would have joined in the celebration of Rita's life. (I feel blessed and fortunate to have been able to visit with you and Rita a mere six weeks ago!) Our present life in Yellow Springs, Ohio led us to attend, instead of a memorial service, the birthday party of a two-year-old. I sit in my office this morning pondering the miraculous opportunities that life presents. Our lives ARE the consequence of the choices we make! To me, Rita exemplified a life well lived. I can only hope for and support similar forward-looking choices for my young friend, James ..... and for myself! There were two concurrent ceremonies yesterday.
