The Other World

[The night of the day of the terrorist attacks that coordinated the hijacking of four airplanes and destroyed three buildings in New York City as well as killing an unknown number of people.]

Rita Warren: All right. Well as you know this has been a sad day for us and we’re checking in to see if this is good thing for Frank to do a session with us tonight.

F: Good thing for him.

R: Good thing for him. All right.

F: He tends not to get in touch with this stuff.

R: Meaning an emotional barrier to it, or – ?

F: He tends not to be in touch with emotions responding to [inaudible] (more…)

[continued from last post]

R: Well then, one of the things that we think about is how to improve our world for the people in it, for the masses of individuals in it. And we think about that in terms of children, and how children’s lives are led, and how it impacts them and doesn’t, and millions of us have lived our lives trying to make a better world, if you will. And I’m hearing you say well of course, it makes sense that one does that with children. But the whole goal of making a better world doesn’t seem to make any sense from the perspective that you’re speaking.

F: Well, let’s be careful. We’ll say this carefully. We’ll try to say this carefully. Your trying to make a better world is good work, because of what you’re choosing. But – better world implies that you know how to make a better world. And (more…)

[I decided that the Monroe free-flow 27 tape wasn’t necessary.]

Rita Warren: Not going to use the sound tonight?

F: Let’s try without it.

R: All right. In that case, just get very relaxed and move yourself into a very comfortable state, to the point where you’re able to move your conscious mind out of the way a bit so that we can speak directly to the gentlemen upstairs. If you want to do some resonant tuning you can do that….

F: Are we rolling?

R: Yes we are. So this is an experiment tonight, we’re trying without your listening to the Hemi-Sync, and without doing the resonant tuning, but you’re doing a good job of being very relaxed and willing to let the gentlemen upstairs come through

F: They always come through. I don’t need a lot of preparation (more…)

[Continued from previous post]

R: Well, suppose there’s a world-wide catastrophe like Hitler represented – it seemed to us it was a world-wide catastrophe – would you react with some kind of negative emotion to that?

F: Um, well – we wouldn’t see it the way you see it. Would you react emotionally to an electrical storm, say? Or to – oh, a random number generator generating more ones than zeroes for a while? You know? We tend to see it more as an interesting natural phenomenon than as a life and death battle between good and evil. You see it that way, but you need to see it that way, that’s what you’re there for. But we do not.

R: Do you experience anything like what we would call love? (more…)

Rita Warren: All right, good evening to the gentlemen upstairs.

F: Hi there.

R: All right, if you want to move aside a little bit – [watches Frank yawning] All right, nice and relaxed; that’s good. I’ve been asking a lot of questions about the nature of the gentlemen upstairs. I have another one.

Frank: I can hear them groan.

R: I’ve been wondering whether in your state there are male and female energies, or whether there’s an absence of gender phenomena in your state. (more…)

[continued from previous post, July 7]

R: I’d like to ask a question that has to do with the variety of lifetimes that an energy like Frank, or anyone else, goes through. Is there some continuity in the role in the physical world that this energy experiences in a series of lifetimes?

F: [pause] We know what you’re asking, but we’re thinking about answering something slightly different. Because the answer to your question as posed is “yes, but no.” This is why we’re going to rephrase the question a little differently.

Suppose you had a hundred lifetimes, just for a round number. Say there were five that had a common thread. And there might be another five with a different thread, and another ten with another thread, you see. When you are in a body at any given time, there would be some easy resonances that came through. And in his case, the only ones with details have come through are modern and either American or Western European – because it’s the closest. (more…)

R: We had a rather abrupt end to our session last week and so I didn’t get to thank the gentlemen upstairs for their participation in this, for allowing me to talk to them directly.

F: my theory is they’re a bunch of bums

R: well, we’ll see if we get bum information.

F: They’re giving the indication they don’t think it would be on their end.

R: What I was trying to do last week was to find out your sources of information, and your relationship to them, and I’d like to continue that a little bit this week. From the last session I got the sense that they are a group of energies. The number 30 came up. I didn’t understand exactly what 30 represented. Were those aspects who specialize in certain kinds of information, or play particular roles with you, or – (more…)

6:15 p.m. Now, remember that “the physical” does not mean humans, or humans and animals, or humans and animals and vegetables and minerals, and it doesn’t mean all the earth or even all the galaxy. It means all of the part of creation that exists within sequential time and what that implies (time-slices, delayed consequences) and separation by space and what that implies (a seemingly absolute division rather than division into units only provisionally or, shall we say, “somewhat”).

Alpha Centuri the star? Yes. Any of its planets? Yes. Any lifeforms existing there, whether recognizable as life to you or not? Yes. Everything that exists in 3-D space is part of the physical aspect of the world. (And we use “the world” here as it used to be used in earlier times, as a synonym for all physical creation.) The reason to stress this point is that you will find an unconscious tendency to divide things between the vast and mysterious and vague “other side” and not all creation, but only earth, or often enough, only humans. That would be a total absolute distortion and is to be avoided.

You see, the interaction we are painting is not a matter of humans on one side and us on the other side. It is not even a matter of Earth life on one side. It is all physical matter anywhere, even if Earth never hears of it. How else could it be? Could you have a local part of the universe in connection with the other side, and not all? (more…)

[continued from July 5 post]

R: Once Frank crosses the line, is there some reason to believe that he won’t join those of you who are speaking to him?

F: Well, he couldn’t help it. Oh, you mean, in our function?

R: In the functions that you’re engaged in right now.

F: [pause] Well, he’s an explorer and a teacher by inclination. It’s part of him. But he has lots of other parts that are other things. If you mean will this – Okay, we got it. [laughs] We’ll give you a choice of answers: yes and no. [they laugh]

Yes, in that that particular atom of that being will be on call for a specific person who needs to talk to him. When he’s the closest resonance to someone who’s talking, you see, and he might be on call. But the difference between him and Frank is so – (more…)

[continued from posting, July 4]

R: In Frank’s book Muddy Tracks, it seems that he was able to clearly distinguish between when he was speaking and you were speaking. When he speaks now, or when he’s in laboratory sessions, for me it’s difficult to know who’s speaking. Is this increasingly a stance for Frank?

F: No, what’s happening is, he was required to make a Copernican world-view shift first, and to do that found it either necessary or convenient – we couldn’t really be sure; it doesn’t make any difference – he found it expedient, anyway, to almost over-emphasize the difference between [him and] us, because that was the only way he could conceptualize it. But once he began realizing that we’re often speaking through him –

He initially saw it when we spoke through him to say something that was important to someone else who had to hear it from a human voice because they weren’t able to hear it inside. Once he realized that, he began seeing it more, and then he began seeing other aspects of himself — other lifetimes, as you call it — going in and going out, going in and going out, and then he began to deduce, correctly, that he does the same thing there, unconsciously usually. Then, the more he looked into it, the more it all folded in on itself and he realized, it isn’t “me” versus “them,” it’s really I/them, or it’s us, or it’s me. You know, all the distinctions blurred. (more…)
